If you’re looking for a safe space to explore the connection between mind and body through intentional movement, yoga classes may be for you. Ranging from a slower meditate practice to vinyasa, a sequence will be developed to guide you based on your needs and desires. Mindfulness and breath are the basis to understanding ourselves and our bodies. Yoga assists in the opening and release of energy in the body. Through the understanding and practice of the 8 Limbs of Yoga, we create an opportunity to peel away the layers and obstacles that block our true Self from being seen, honored, and loved. All classes are trauma informed honoring choice and empowerment of the individual. Schedule a session with me to stretch your mind and body, and open your heart. 

As a Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist, a safe space is created, through connection, relationship, and over time, trust, for individuals struggling with anxiety and those who identify with trauma to practice movement/asana and use the teachings of yogic philosophy to assist in self-regulation and the ability to handle triggering situations and reprogram the brain and body. 


Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy uses movement, breath, neurophysiology, and Eastern teachings to support the re-wiring of neural pathways in the brain to help resolve traumatic memories and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, our "rest and digest" system.
